1. Split all the Christmas gifts, or any gifts you have to give in general. I split the costs of all my Christmas shopping with Mr. Cutie Patootie this year and thus I only spent half as much as usual. Its simple, go shopping together, pick a gift, pay for half (or everything and have them give you a check later), and put both of your names on it! This is easy if your dating or married, but you could also easily split gifts with siblings.
2. Raid your bathroom! I looked through all my cabinets and I realized I have a lot of product I don't use. If you have a conditioner that you don't like and its just siting in your cabinets or under the sink gathering dust, then use it as a shave gel! It will moisturize your skin, hair, and prevent razor bumps when shaving. Or, if you have some old hair shampoo sitting around, use it as soap! Re-using products in different ways will save you money when you need to buy new products.
3. Go to StartSampling.com! Its a great site that I just joined where you can sample products for free! I love samples, because then you know what to and what not to buy next time you go shopping.
4. Before you go shopping, print coupons! Coupons.com, has a wide variety of coupons you can print out before you shop. Its just too easy to find what you need. I always try and shop with coupons handy.
Well, I hope everyone has had a great week! I'm very happy to announce that I passed Business Calculus! Woohoo! Honestly I was a little worried, but I did it! I'm very happy because on the final I would have had to receive a 126 (out of 140) points to pass, and I did it! Yay! This was a Gordon Rule class (meaning I would have had to get a C to pass, no C-'s) and I got it! I know a C is nothing to be proud of, but honestly I am so happy I could dance.
How has everyone's weekend been going?

Congrats on passing business calculus.. I don't even want to know what that class would be like! ugh
I took your suggestion for my 100th post- that was a great idea, thanks! I hope to have it posted today or tomorrow and I linked to you for the credit of the idea :)
Hey Rebecca!! :D Congrats on passing Business Calculus!! *tosses confetti all around her* I'm sooo happy that this semester is FINALLY over, too! I just got caught up with reading your posts (studying for finals really set me back :<) and I have to say I really like all the useful lists and links to nifty news and videos. Great site design, too ^-^-b. Oh, and my boyfriend and I did the same thing to cut costs this holiday season; we split the costs of every x-mas gift we've bought. It's really helped me save some much needed monies.
Oh! Say hi to Chris for me! And an early Merry Christmas to you both! Hope you get loads of presents and eat loaaaaads of Christmas ham...or pork...turkey? Not sure what people eat for Christmas :o b-but have LOADS of it! :D Miss you guys!

Yay for passing business calc!
And, I'm glad you put up a new picture of you...now I know who you are.
And, conditioner really does make good shave cream..it just makes your tub/shower a little slipper.
Merry Christmas.
Agreed on the Christmas shopping. Waaay better to split the costs, especially being a College student and all.
